You may or may not know this, but this prairie girl was actually born and raised in beautiful British Columbia. We moved our family to the prairies 14 years ago almost to the day, on a crazy adventure to flip a house. What we thought was going to be a one year project, turned into a 14 year adventure. In that time, we have moved six times. My husband left his career as an electrician, pursued post education and became a pastor in full time ministry. We also added five more children to our family. We celebrated milestones, mourned tragedies, started new projects, completed most of them, wore our hearts on our sleeves, and tried to always be as genuine and kind as we could possibly be.
In that time, I also started Infinity Photography, a dream birthed out of the desire to be creative, claim some much needed me-time, and maybe generate a bit of an income to help the family. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. And that is because of YOU, my dear clients and supporters. I have shot over 15 weddings, 10 babies, and countless beautiful families and grads. You have invited me into your celebrations, intimate moments, family craziness and I am so thankful. You have made me laugh, challenged me to do better, run (after many children), fall into snowbanks (while holding my camera up for safety), and made me tear up at the beauty of you. I have prayed for all of you to and from our sessions. Often you have opened up and shared what was going on in your world and allowed me to comfort and encourage you. I have stared at your faces for hours on end, as I edit your photos and prayed over you and your families. Thank you!
Now, the time has come to say good bye to the beloved prairies and make the journey home. I am excited about this next chapter and all that it holds for our family, but with new adventures comes hard goodbyes. My heart is full. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your lives, and for being apart of mine. I go home with immense gratitude and a hope that I continue connecting with families, just in a new province.
Blessings on all of you!
