Do you have a nice hanger for your dress?

I suggest having something like a wooden hanger for your dress as it looks much nicer for photos. Most dresses come with a cheap plastic one that can be distracting from the dress.

Do you have any important and special details that I should know about? Some bride's like to have something borrowed or sentimental for their special day. For example, a grandmother's bracelet, a family heirloom broach, ect.)

I suggest this instead of a receiving line, in the spirit of saving time. Also, you can spend some time greeting guests at your recpetion for more unique photo opportunities.

Family Photos

Strangely the part of the day that requires the most pre-planning. This is your moment to fill us in on ANY situation that might be awkward or anything that requires a little extra TLC or care around getting through Family Photos smoothly. Planning this ahead and letting your family know what to expect will help this to be less like "herding cats" and more like a fun time getting nice family portraits quickly and efficiently. We can get them all done in 20 minutes tops if we plan ahead right, or it could take a full hour.

I have found that it generally works best to do Family Photos immediately following the Ceremony at the location of the Ceremony (or close to it). This avoids all manner of problems that can occur when family photos happen later in the day.

Are you happy to do the Family Photos right after the Ceremony?

I recommend leaving 30-45 minutes for Family Photos. They can take longer, and they can be quicker depending on the size of the family included.

So many people have additional Step Parents and Bonus family members. If this is the case for you write the birth parent's name along with their spouse's name under that parent's category. If siblings have spouses, please include their spouse's name with the sibling's name (including any children they may have attending as well). If siblings are dating someone seriously, feel free to include their partner by that sibling's name also, and we'll chat with you about whether they'll be in all of the photos or just some.

The day has been going for quite some time at this point. While we are thinking about the timeline and all of the events that will occur, this might be a perfect moment to consider having some snacks and water available for you and your Wedding Party. This could be a great place to enlist one of your Wedding Party People to be in charge of this. We want to avoid a hangry Bride or Groom or Wedding Party at all costs!

This is a good time to pull out your timeline from your caterer, DJ or MC, or I can make a timeline with you after you fill out this form.

Time to Eat!

You may remember in the Wedding Agreement you signed with me included dinner, and that to be as efficient as possible I try to eat at the same time as the Bride & Groom (around the same time as the head table). Will my name be on the seating chart in order to find our place at dinner?

Sunset Photos

I encourage the Bride and Groom to slip away around sunset to do a quick set of photos. This is only 15 minutes usually, but are often the favourite pictures of the day. It's also a great opportunity for the Bride and Groom to take some time for just the two of them.

The Venders.

The Wedding industry is all about working together. I would love to give credit on social media to the venders you chose for your big day and access to the images of their work on your wedding day (after you receive all of the edited images of course) . You can help me by providing their names, website, instagram account info so that I can be in touch with them.
Examples of venders would include: wedding planner, wedding dress shop, jeweller, transportation company, officiant, decorator, rental company, catering company, cake designer, floral designer, DJ, makeup artist, hair stylist, stationary, videographer, ext.
